Airtel has been recently revising its prepaid and postpaid plans. If we recall, earlier the company launched a new prepaid plan of Rs. 299 that offers unlimited calling and data benefits along with amazon prime subscription. However, this time we have two new prepaid plans for Rs. 129 and Rs.249 respectively. The first plan is targeted towards the voice-heavy users who don’t require data so much. The second plan is surprising because this plan is offering Rs. 4 lakh Life Insurance cover. So let’s have a detailed look at each plan.

Airtel Rs. 129 Plan

Starting with the first plan, it is one of the most economical plans from Airtel which is offering Unlimited calling facility. In addition, it will offer 2GB data for the entire validity period of 28 days with and daily 100 SMS. Airtel Rs. 249 Plan

The Rs. 249 prepaid plan offers a validity of 28 days along with 2GB 3G/4G data per day, unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day. This pack also includes Airtel TV premium (includes subscriptions from Zee5, HOOQ, Live Channels, Movies and more), Wynk music subscription along with Norton Mobile Security that valid for 1 Year. Additionally, it will offer Rs. 2000 cashback on purchasing a new 4G smartphone. Now coming to the highlight, on recharging this Rs. 249 plan users will be eligible for Rs.4 Lakh Life Insurance. To be eligible for this insurance, the subscriber should be between 18 to 54 years of age. The user has to keep recharging with the same plan to get the benefits. Upon the recharge of Rs. 249, the user will get an SMS on how to share the KYC details for processing and claiming the insurance policy. On successful registration and verification, users will be able to manage the policy from the My Airtel app. Notably, this can be done offline as well by visiting Airtel Store where representatives will fill a physical form for the insurance registration.
